Beverley Westwood was filled with excitement and energy as approximately 200 runners of all ages participated in the highly anticipated Beverley Fun Run.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted public gatherings on Westwood, this was the first event on the street since then. A resounding success, the Fun Run was organized by the Beverley Braves and aimed at promoting teamwork, respect, and good physical and mental health.

Indeed, the first 40 minutes were near flawless as they led 18-0 at the break. They then had enough tenacity and spirit to survive a second-half revival by the Merseyside outfit and claim 2 more valuable league points.
