Beverley ARLFC got their new season off to a winning start as they beat Woolston Rovers 22-12 at the Beverley Leisure Centre.

A hard-fought and at times feisty encounter Coach Tony Spence was pleased with the result. He was also happy with the effort shown by his side.

The Beverley Barracudas Swimming Club spent 3 weekends in February competing at the annual Yorkshire Championships in Leeds and Sheffield.

Swimming in a 50m long pools, the Barracudas swam with determination and passion to bring home excellent finalist positions. They also picked up a medal against the best swimmers in Yorkshire.

Businesses, community groups and members of the public in the Bridlington and Beverley area who are interested in getting involved in the 2020 Tour de Yorkshire are being invited to a free roadshow.

This year’s Tour de Yorkshire will start in Beverley on Thursday, 30 April. It will go through Tickton, Leven, Catwick, Sigglesthorne, Seaton, Hornsea, Atwick, Skipsea, Beeford, Lissett, Bridlington, Sewerby, Marton, Flamborough, Bempton and Buckton.
