Today sees the return of the ever popular Beverley 10K, an event that sees local runners, first time runners and fun runners tackle a quite difficult course around Beverley.
Over the years there have been some great events, here we pick out a few photos from the past events, and the people who run, watch and of course take part.
Hundreds of runners took part in the Hall Construction Group Beverley 10K tackling a hilly course in cool weather conditions that would have suited many runners.
Andy Holey took these pictures during the Olympic Torch Relay through Beverley. They show the crowds that gathered and also some great shots of the torch bearers before and during their runs through the town.
Prizes have been awarded to the top photos in the exhibition ‘Capturing the East Riding: Photographs from the Community’, now on view at Beverley Art Gallery until Saturday, 24 March.

We left Beverley in the early hours (4am) on Wednesday morning, June 23rd. Arriving in Summerset in good time around 8.30am.
