Beverley Heartstart held their first course at St Mary’s Church Parish Hall that teaches people basic first aid skills and other techniques that could help save lives.
Doncaster started the game by putting Beverley under pressure showing their top status in Junior Yorkshire rugby, with some precision execution of the ball and long passes across the field.
Beverley RUFC under 15 squad opened their season with a match against Cleethorpes. On a gloriously sunny morning, the squad strode out fit and ready following a summer of training.
Beverley RUFC held a ladies day themed event for their final fixture of the season. Around sixty ladies put on their glad rags and headed to Beaver park where they were greeted and given gifts on arrival by players
A good turnout on Saturday 4th February from the under 14/ 15 s Junior section of Beverley RUFC saw them venture out in the freezing temperatures to raise funds for their up and coming tour to Leicester in March.
After a few weeks without a match it was good to see the team on with a fixture. They travelled to Hornsea to play another developing side.
Beverley RUFC under 13’s / development side travelled to North Yorkshire to face Malton. Always a strong opposition and this was to prove no different . The blast of the whistle also saw the start of a downfall of rain which was unrelentless. Lingering Fog at Beaver Park didn’t stop Cleckheaton making their journey to Beverley for a rematch, previously Beverley had beaten them in the season. Beverley Racecourse hosted their family race day yesterday. Amanda Price a Nurse at Hull Royal Infirmary spent the day at the Westwood course with family friends as she celebrated her 43rd birthday.
