Cool pics- when the snow comes like this and everyone is having fun- it would be nice if the council would allow more mobile catering units, a red cross unit, and lay on a couple of tractors/ 4x4's just incase people get stuck- more people excercising=healther people and also bring in more people to the town to sample its great atmostphere in the centre - a truely wonderful & unique town

I haven't heard any mention in all this about the severe deterioration of the 'new' concrete sets already laid in Butcher Row & Toll Gavel. These sets are only a couple of years old & are already deteriorating at a fast rate, soon we will have thousands of pounds worth of restoration work on these paid for by the rate payers of Beverley because of a poor choice of materials by the East Riding of Yorkshire. I don't recall any major maintenance being required on the existing sets in the market place they should be left alone.

I was walking my Dog in Beverley and had no idea who this Senior Gent was - I was flattered by his enthusiasm for "Ollie" and perplexed when he said he would take Olliie and care for him should I ever need him to....I didn't know it was Paddy but I was impressed by his openess and obvious sincerity. I have met Paddy today and once more the same offer but this time he was even more enthusiastic - what a lovely man, but I still knew nothing about him untillI did an internet search....do I feel stupid...you bet...please God let him live for as long as the world needs him and Real People such as he.
