
Witnesses are sought to a fatal road traffic collision that happened on a busy Hull roundabout at approximately 1600hrs on Easter Sunday (31 March 2013). A 46-year-old Hull man was travelling on a red and black coloured Raleigh pedal cycle round the Derringham Bank roundabout where Willerby Road and Spring Bank West meet. It appears that as he was cycling round the roundabout a collision occurred with a black Renault Clio, driven by a 29-year-old man. The cyclist sustained critical head injuries and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment. He sadly died on the afternoon of Easter Monday (01 April). The driver of the car was uninjured. He was arrested in connection with the collision and interviewed by police. He has now been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
