An East Yorkshire based hypnotherapist has departed for an international tour to spread the word about an alternative approach to weight loss. Sheila Granger, who hails from Hull and practices at the Beverley and Molescroft Surgery, is a professional UKclinical hypnotherapist who specialises in virtual gastric band therapy. Currently 35,000 feet in the air on her way to Las Vegas, Sheila is leading a three-day seminar at the Orleans Hotel and Casino is Las Vegas for those looking for drastic weight loss results. She has already achieved success on foreign shores, having had sell-out workshops as far afield as Australia and Canada. Sheila Granger said: “I have been practicing for several years and have worked with people all over the world. “Gastric band hypnosis is particularly popular overseas but it still amazes me when I think how far I have come. “To be hosting seminars at Las Vegas hotels is a long way from where I thought I’s go.” Sheila’s seminars in Las Vegas have been sold out for months and she is already planning trips to other locations in 2013 too, including further forays to Australia and is to host seminars in Spain. New Project Launched To Protect Humberside

A new initiative tackling organised crime and the threat of terrorism across the Humberside policing area is being launched. Project Yali is a joint agency initiative that aims to deliver an enhanced vigilance capability and reporting mechanism within the transport community of Humberside. In partnership with Crimestoppers, P&O Ferries, Associated British Ports, UK Border Force and Counter Terrorism Unit, Humberside Police are targeting those working in transportation in an effort to exchange information and intelligence about criminal activity that may be occurring in the region’s portal areas at Immingham, Killingholme and King George Dock in Hull. In the first three months of 2012 (January to March) there were more than 30,000 movements in and out of the Humber ports by accompanied self-drive vehicles including HGVs, tankers, etc. This figure does not include unaccompanied container’s trailers or bulk cargo that all arrive on a daily basis. Project Yali will provide haulage companies with a number to ring and a clear structure for the reporting of unusual activity or behaviour that is suspected to be linked with acts of terrorism or organised crime.
