Humberside Fire and Rescue Service is hosting a community fun day event on 26 May at Calvert Lane Fire Station. There will be stalls and games for all the family to enjoy and also an opportunity to gain valuable fire and road safety advice. Organiser, Andy Johnson from Humberside Fire and Rescue said: “This is great way to bring to community together and help raise money for local charities. People who come along can have a look around our fire engine and it’s a chance to meet their local Firefighters.”mily to enjoy and also an opportunity to gain valuable fire and road safety advice. Humberside Police will also be there to give residents a chance to explore a command vehicle and a specialist traffic car. Young Drivers (age 15 -25) will have the opportunity to experience the icar, which is a road legal black Astra that has been modified to provide a full sensory experience.
