
Hull City Football club welcomes Cardiff City on Saturday 4th May 2013 for the last game of the regular Championship season. Humberside Police are expecting a sell out crowd at the KC Stadium to show their support to both teams and that Hull City supporters will get fully behind the team and drive them towards the three points the club need to secure second place and automatic promotion. Humberside Police in partnership with Hull City Football club are planning a joint operation aimed at ensuring the event will be safe for all those who are attending and, as a result, the public can expect to see a larger than normal police presence around the stadium and within the city centre. The public are encouraged to speak to police officers if they have any questions or concerns. The football match is an all ticket game, and tickets will not be on sale on match day. The turnstiles are due to open at 1115hrs. Humberside police are advising those attending the fixture to plan journeys to ensure they arrive at the KC Stadium in good time to avoid queues at kick off time 1245hrs.
