Police Message For Hull City V Cardiff City Fixture Saturday

Hull City Football club welcomes Cardiff City on Saturday 4th May 2013 for the last game of the regular Championship season. Humberside Police are expecting a sell out crowd at the KC Stadium to show their support to both teams and that Hull City supporters will get fully behind the team and drive them towards the three points the club need to secure second place and automatic promotion. Humberside Police in partnership with Hull City Football club are planning a joint operation aimed at ensuring the event will be safe for all those who are attending and, as a result, the public can expect to see a larger than normal police presence around the stadium and within the city centre. The public are encouraged to speak to police officers if they have any questions or concerns. The football match is an all ticket game, and tickets will not be on sale on match day. The turnstiles are due to open at 1115hrs. Humberside Police

Hull City AFC play host to local rival’s Leeds United on Saturday, 29 December, 2012, in their last home fixture of the calendar year. The game kicks off at 1230hrs, and it is expected to attract near capacity crowds for Hull City and Leeds United clash. Humberside Police are urging both home and away fans to get to the KC Stadium early to avoid disappointment if parking is full. The city centre will no doubt be busy as shoppers will be consumed in the Christmas sales, so traffic may be busier than normal. Operation’s commander for the local derby match, Chief Inspector Rich Kirven, said: “Please allow sufficient time to travel to the ground and park somewhere safe. For people who are using their own vehicles to go to the match, the park and ride schemes would save on time and stress.” Humberside Police advise Hull City fans to: * Park in a well lit area * Make sure vehicles are locked when left unattended for any period of time * Remove any Sat Navs or Tom Toms and their holders from view and clear any marks left on the wind screen when leaving the vehicle * Remove anything that…
