SCUNTHORPE : Motor Cyclists Seriously Injured

An Investigation is now under way in North Lincolnshire following a road traffic collision which has left a man in hospital in a critical condition. Police received a call shortly before 0500hrs on Sunday 04 November from the Ambulance Service reporting that a man, who had been involved in a road traffic collision, was located on Willoughby Road with serious injuries. The 21-year-old man, who police believe was the sole rider of a motorcycle, was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital and has now been transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary where he remains in a critical condition. Following a number of enquires police have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with this incident. He is not believed to have been travelling on the motorcycle with the injured man but may be able to assist police with their enquiries. He remains in police custody at this time. Police would like to ask people to refrain from posting information in connection with this incident on social-networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. A161 Crash Victim Named By Police

The 19-year-old man who died following a single-vehicle collision on the A161 near Crowle in North Lincolnshire in the early hours of Sunday 16 September has been named as Richard Crooks of Tottermire Lane, Epworth. Mr. Crooks was travelling in a black Renault Clio with a 20-year-old man when the car left the road at approximately 0320hrs. The 20-year-old man was travelling in the front passenger seat and sustained facial injuries and seat belt bruising. He was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital and released after treatment. LICOLNSHIRE : Cyclist Killed In Collision With Range Rover

A pedal cyclist sadly died after being involved in a road traffic collision at 1935hrs on Monday 10 September in North Lincolnshire. The collision happened on Idle Bank close to Wroot and involved a black Range Rover Sport driven by a 21-year-old Epworth man and a 40-year-old local man on a bicycle. The vehicle and cycle were travelling in the same direction when the collision occurred resulting in the cyclist sustaining head injuries. He was taken to Scunthorpe General Hospital but sadly died in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 11 September). The driver of the Range Rover was uninjured. Police closed the road for several hours to enable the scene to be examined and it was re-opened at approximately 0130hrs. Officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are seeking witnesses. SCUNTHORPE : Police seek Help To Locate Driver After An Assault.

Police are appealing for help in locating the driver of a vehicle which was seen to have pulled into a car park on Cole Street at around 1905hrs on Wednesday 08 August. The vehicle, is believed to have been a cream coloured Mini Cooper convertible, with the roof downand two black racing stripes across the bonnet. The vehicle pulled into the car park, close to the time at which the assault took place. Police believe the Mini Cooper may have been driving behind the Mercedes, prior to the assault and that the driver may have witnessed something. It is thought there was one occupant in the vehicle; however, at this time it is not known if they were male or female. Police would like to stress that the driver of this vehicle is not a suspect but may be able to provide information in connection with their enquiries. A 38 year old man was assaulted by a number of men who are believed to have got out of a Mercedes car on Cole Street. SCUNTHORPE : Man Attacked on Bamboogy Street

Local police are appealing for information following an incident which happened inside Bamboogy, High Street in Scunthorpe between 0320hrs and 0330hrs on Sunday 29 July 2012. A 45 year old man was stood speaking to a friend inside the club when it is alleged, he felt something hit the right side of his face, which resulted in some injury being caused. The man is not sure if it was a person or an object which hit him in the face, however, a short time later he attended Scunthorpe General Hospital and was, then transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary for a suspected broken jaw. As enquiries into the incident continue police are appealing for information, which may help police identify how the man sustained the injuries to his face. BRIDLINGTON : Assault Market Place

Humberside Police are appealing for possible witnesses to an assault which happened in the Market Place, Bridlington between 2020hrs and 2040hrs on Wednesday 30 May 2012. A 37-year-old man was in the Pack Horse Inn public house with a number of people, when a verbal altercation took place inside. The altercation then continued into the street, and as it did the man was allegedly physically assaulted by several men and a woman. The 37-year-old man attended Scarborough General Hospital and received treatment for facial injuries. Following a number of enquiries, police arrested a 30-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man, a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old man in connection with the incident. Home Brew Hospitalises And Causes Safety Concern

ON Saturday 12 May 2012, police were called by doctors at Doncaster General Hospital after a man was brought into their hospital unconscious and in a critical condition after drinking illicit alcohol. At about 0930hrs on Saturday morning a man in his 20’s was brought into Doncaster Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit by ambulance staff, after he was found unconscious at a house in Goole. It was clear the man had drank an unknown substance and the police were called in the afternoon of the same day to investigate further. It is believed the man had purchased illicit home made Vodka which was between 50-60% proof. Once the medical staff were informed of the possible cause of the mans condition, medics treated the man with the appropriate care and was later released from hospital two days later. Speaking to the patient, it is believed he purchased the 50-60% proof Vodka which was made and sold to residents in the Goole area for an enormously lower price than officially permitted and authorised manufacturers retail at. BRIDLINGTON: Man Assaulted Prince Street

POLICE are appealing for information following an incident which happened close to the corner of Prince Street, Garrison Square, Bridlington. A 28 year old man was walking alone at around 0006hrs on Sunday 04 March, when he was approached by two men. One of the men is alleged to have assaulted him causing him to sustain a broken nose and a possible fractured eye socket, for which he received treatment at Scarborough General Hospital. The offender is described a white male, 6ft tall with dark hair and aged in his mid 20s. He was wearing a white coloured t-shirt with black detail on the front. The man with him is described as a white male, around 5ft 11ins tall and aged in his mid 20s. He had ginger hair and was also wearing a white coloured t-shirt.
