
Police in Hull are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault on Ferensway, between approximately 1440hrs and 1450hrs on Saturday, 29 December, 2012. The incident happened near to Stanley’s Brasserie, next to the busy dual carriageway. A teenage girl was walking along Ferensway, Hull, with a man who was known to her. They were walking towards Paragon Station, from the Carr Lane area of the City Centre, when they were approached by an elderly man. The man is alleged to have attempted to kiss the girl before walking away in an unknown direction. The man is described as white, between 5ft 6ins – 6ft tall, medium build, white beard and wearing glasses, and spoke with a Hull accent. He was wearing a green coat, a grey woolly hat, and used a grey walking stick which had a black moulded handle.
