Police Issue Warning To Stamford Bridge Residents

Detectives in the East Riding are warning people of the dangers of leaving valuables inside a vehicle, after two thefts in the area.

Between 2100hrs on Wednesday 02 May and 0710hrs on Thursday 03 May thieves entered a white coloured Vivaro van, which was parked secure on the driveway of a property on Huntsman Lane, and stole a black coloured .

In another incident, a secure white Transit van, which was parked on Low Catton Road at around the same time, was entered by thieves who stole:

A Milwaukee 18v drill in a box with a charger

A Mikita 14v cordless drill in a box with charger

A Makita router

believe these incidents may be connected and would ask for local residents in the area to be vigilant and not to leave vehicles insecure and to ensure that nothing of value is left inside.

Anyone who may have information in connection with these incidents is asked to call tel 101 quoting 1904787 (Huntsman Lane) and 1904775 (Low Catton Road).
