An opportunity is now available to join the Litigation and Regulatory Services legal team within a Council based in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.
We seek a qualified solicitor with significant post qualification experience in the field of general litigation, civil and/or criminal law. It would be an advantage if the applicant has previous experience of employment and/or planning law. Candidates should also have substantial advocacy experience in HM Courts and other tribunals.
The role of the solicitor is to advice and represent the client departments in all aspects of law affecting Local Authorities.

The team is based at County Hall in the historic and attractive market town of Beverley and the town has a wealth of historic buildings including the 12th Century church of St Mary’s and the 13th Century Beverley Minster. East Riding of Yorkshire also enjoys good travel links to other parts of the region such as Leeds and York.
