Vehicle Maintenance Unit Vehicle Technician. Scale point 21 (plus 10% shift allowance) 37 hrs per week + 3 hours contracted overtime. Based at Goole depot.
The East Riding Of Yorkshire Council require a highly skilled and motivated vehicle technician with experience relevant to deal with the full range of LGV’s, vans and equipment that make up the Council’s fleet.
You will have had a Craft Apprenticeship, NVQ level 3 or similar and have 3 years subsequent experience of vehicle maintenance. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and also upon your own initiative to ensure the departments’ targets are met and ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained at all times.
You will have experience in the preparation of vehicles for MOT, PSV and GV testing.
The Shift works Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm with weekly rotation.
