Free Family Fun Event Will Celebrate Bridlington's Seaside Heritage

A free fun event is taking place in Bridlington on 29 and 30 August, to explore the town’s seaside heritage

The event will be held in Garrison Square, where entertainment will include traditional Punch and Judy shows throughout both days.  There will also be short walking tours taking place around Bridlington Quay, starting at 10:30am and finishing at 3:00pm.

Humber Street Sesh’s graffiti scene was boosted by local bus company East Yorkshire providing two single deck buses to be painted by world-class artists.

Two decommissioned buses were loaned to the festival, which took place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 August, with graffiti artists being given free rein to create something spectacular.

A total of 364 public nominations for parks and green spaces across the UK have been made – and 30 of these are in the Yorkshire and the Humber region – each one a much-loved part of its local community.
