East Riding of Yorkshire Council would like to advise residents of opening hours for venues, including leisure centres, libraries, museums, archive services and customer service centres during the Easter holidays and for the Royal wedding.
From Friday, 22 April to Monday, 2 May, general opening times will be as follows for the council’s 11 leisure centres.
For specific pool opening times please check with the facility.
Friday 22 April (Good Friday) – 9am-6pm
Saturday 23 April – 8am-9pm
Sunday 24 April – 8am-9pm
Monday 25 April (Easter Monday) – 9am-6pm Tuesday 26 April – 7am-10pm Wednesday 27 April – 7am-10pm Thursday 28 April – 7am-10pm Friday 29 April (Royal wedding) – 9am-6pm Saturday 30 April – 8am-9pm Sunday 1 May – 8am-9pm Monday 2 May – 9am-6pm
All Libraries and the Beverley Treasure House, Beverley (library, museum and archives services) will be closed on Friday, 22, Sunday, 24, Monday, 25 and Friday, 29 April as well as Sunday, 1 and Monday, 2 May and will be open as normal on Saturday, 23, Tuesday, 26, Wednesday, 27, Thursday, 28 and Saturday, 30 April.
Skidby Windmill will be closed to visitors on Friday, 22 and 29 April, but will be open from 10am to 5pm throughout the rest of Easter, with last admissions at 4.15pm.
All Customer Service Centres will be closed on Friday, 22 April, Monday, 25 April, Friday, 29 April, Monday, 2 May and Monday, 30 May.
The contact centre will remain open for telephone enquiries; however this will be a limited service.
