World War I Memorial in Hengate Gardens to Be Restored
Plans are being put in place to restore the World War I memorial in Hengate Gardens. Councillors David Elvidge and Dominic Peacock met with Beverley Civic Society’s Gerald O’Callaghan and the Royal British Legion’s county chairman Alan Higbee to discuss what could be done to bring the memorial back to its former glory.
