is pleased to be the guest of honour at the Club open day on Sunday 26th July to celebrate the recent redevelopment of the courts.

“I am looking forward to championing a great local organisation”, said Mr Stuart, the MP for Beverley and Holderness.

“This fundraising effort proves that with members who are passionate and dedicated, a small group of individuals can make a big difference and provide free for the whole community.

“The courts have been resurfaced, meaning the courts are ready for wannabe champions to hone their skills.

“If you are a keen player in , of any age or ability, I suggest you come down to the open day and give the new courts a go! Everyone is welcome and use of the courts is free.”

Club has been in existence for over 25 years, and currently enters five teams in local leagues.

The club has been raising funds in order to resurface three of the courts to bring them up to LTA specification. The whole project cost £27,000, which came from council sports development grants and ground-level fundraising by its members.

The age range of its members is from 5 to 69 and provides LTA-standard coaching courses for children.

The club openly welcomes new members, and there is no charge for the use of the courts.
