Mike Gaden Football Fives @ Beverley Rugby Club

Senior football returns this weekend with the staging of the Mike Gaden Football Fives at Beverley Rugby Club.

The competition, this year sponsored by Riverview Gym, of Phoenix Park, Grovehill Road, is open to teams with squads of seven players and takes place on Sunday (26 June).

It is held in the honour of former Beverley Town player Mike Gaden, who died in 1999.

Always a popular event, hundreds of players and fans attend the competition and make for a superb day out.

Last year’s winners were Athletico.
