Mayor Officially Opens Two New Beverley Shops

The Mayor of Beverley, Councillor Peter Astell, officially opened the two shops at a ceremony on Saturday 20^th August.

He congratulated the new proprietors and welcomed them to Beverley.

Cllr Peter Astell said;

“It’s encouraging to see young entrepreneurs choosing the town for their businesses and on behalf of the Town Council I wish you every success.”

   I hope the 15 year old mayoral-consort isn’t drinking alcohol in the photo where he’s raising a toast with his dad the mayor!?!?
