The Friends of Longcroft School raised over £200 as they hosted a successful Prom Fashion Show.
Sheenagh Rollison chair of the FOLS opened the evening alongside Miss Community UK Charity Hannah Hunter.
Fourteen students, whose hair and makeup was done by De Lacy Spa took the cat walk modelling prom gowns from The Fairy Godmothers.
Aside from the fashion show there were number of stalls including Becky Curtis of Mobile Makeovers who were providing special offers on the night.
Sheenagh said;
“The girls had a great night and we are delighted at the amount raised on the night.”

Proms have become big business in the UK, it is estimated that on average a prom is costing £244 per person with UK parents spending a staggering £31m per year on their children’s big night out.
The Holiday Inn recently conducted a study in the UK and pointed to the increase in US TV shows has having a huge influence saying over the past five years they have seen a 500 per cent increase in venues being booked for proms.
