Leven Real Ale Festival

An historic East Yorkshire pub hopes to pull in pounds for charity by pulling pints of some of the county’s finest real ales.

The New Inn in is hosting the first on 10-12 June.

Set within the pub’s newly refurbished Georgian courtyard, the festival will showcase some of Yorkshire’s finest real ales and ciders as well as fine food and live entertainment.

The festival gets under way on Friday with an exclusive all-ticket event, with guests getting the chance to sample world-class ales from local producers, such , Wold Top, Old Mill and Moorlands Cider, Also top entertainment from some of the regions finest acts.

The festival’s family atmosphere continues throughout Saturday, with live entertainment including a display from the East Yorkshire Morris Dancers, family games, more , home made food and the chance to sample more great cask ales and cider.

£1 from the entry price on Friday and half of the bar profits throughout the weekend will be donated to local educational charity, The Wray Trust, and Scouts.

The event is being sponsored by and supported by East Yorkshire-based , The New Inn and Jellycat Media.

Festival organiser said: “We are grateful to our sponsors and supporters for helping us put together a fantastic selection of ales and ciders for ’s very first Real Ale Festival. Hopefully, the weekend will have something for everyone, whether you’re a real ale lover or just want to get away to the countryside and enjoy a great pint and fine food in the fantastic surroundings of a traditional Yorkshire pub.”
