The Beverley Westwood was the place to head as the snow arrived in Beverley this weekend.
With the sporting fixtures canceled up and down country winter sports took over from field sport with plenty of people in Beverley going sledging on the Westwood.

It is great that the snow is here and we have been out today enjoying it with many others. Unfortunately though our day was tarnished by the idiotic teenagers that were hanging around the traffic lights at the Rose and Crown Pub with their crate of Stella cans throwing snow balls at stationary cars waiting for the lights to change. I had my 6 month old son in the car with me and he was very startled. When we moved to Beverley we thought it was a lovely place to live, however, we can’t escape the thugs that seem to be everywhere. What a shame this action spoils enjoying the town of Beverley!
