Would-be swimming teachers can take the plunge during a beginners swimming teachers course.
The course will be held at Beverley Leisure Complex during February half term, from Monday, 21 February until Friday, 25 February. The course will start at 7.30am each day and finish at 3pm.
Those taking part must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and be over 16.
The course will cost £200 for members of the public and £100 for anyone employed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
