The penultimate meeting at Beverley Racecourse took place today.
A very good sized crowd was at the Westwood course to enjoy the afternoons racing.
The 3.45 feature race, ‘The Comedy Curry Night On 24th September Handicap Stakes was won by King of the Celts ridden by P J McDonald.
McDonald won the race by a few lengths as he came tearing up the inside passing Paul Hanagan to win the race.
The racing season comes to a close at Beverley on Tuesday 20th September, doors open at noon with the first race setting off at 2pm.
