Its Starting To Feel A Bit Like Christmas………

Imagine the scene, wintry December morning, bright blue skies, North York Moors covered in a layer of white frosting, freezing temperatures, mince pies, hot chocolate, carol singers and a train belching out steam in anticipation of a journey crammed full of excited eager for a glimpse of Santa.

Saturday 10th December was the day when Rainbows from Beverley Division (1st , 1st Leconfield & 1st ) congregated at Pickering station and ‘Took Over The Tracks’ for their pre- outing.

With a final blast from the conductors whistle, like a scene reminiscent of , the train left the station. Rainbows and Guiders alike were delighted when Santa duly made his appearance granting wishes to everyone with a hearty ho-ho-ho. A truly enjoyable day for all, both young and old, and a fantastic way to get the spirit flowing.
