Beverley Lions continue their fundraising activities when they hold their annual golf day at Driffield Golf Club.
Already 34 teams have signed up for the event, which starts at 9.30am on Friday 28 May and is one of the highlights of the Beverley Lions’ fundraising year.
Following the day’s golf, prizes and a raffle will be held before the two highlights of the day take place.
A painting of St Mary’s Church, donated by Beverley artist Tony Watts and framed by Ford Framing, will be auctioned for charity.
And Lions’ president Ian Sagar will be presenting a cheque for £2,500 to Dr Ming, consultant neurologist of Hull and East Yorkshire Hopsitals. The money will go to care for the regions epilepsy sufferers.
