An entertaining and memorable evening was had at the Tickton Grange Hotel last night. Glenholme Florists of Wilbert Lane, Beverley held a floral demonstration to raise funds for St Pauls Church, Tickton.
After a welcome glass of wine the audience were entertained by four demonstrators from the florists shop. A fitting opening to the evening was an arrangement of white Lilies and red Poppies for remembrance. This was followed by a medley of striking and inspirational designs using flowers from all over the world.
Christmas arrangements featured after the interval culminating with an impressive 6 foot floor standing candelabra in traditional reds and greens. A raffle was held that included some of the displays and donated gifts to raise more funds for the Church.
