On Tuesday, in association with “The Fairy Godmothers” of 25 Ladygate, Beverley – FOLS presented their annual Prom Fashion Show.
Students from years 11, 12 and 13, were fundamental in the success of the evening by managing all the back stage equipment/lighting/selling of tickets/modelling.
The FOLS would like to thank the teachers who supported the students, the Renaissance Dance Company and The Longcroft Gospel Choir for providing the entertainment.
Local business supported the evening by hiring a table and donating raffle prizes. These included “Glitterbug Wishes”, “Tiaras and more”, “Minster Gym”, “The Beverley Music Centre” and “Frangipani UK”
Many thanks go to Nathalie Kerr of Snobs Hair Salon who closed early to help the girls with their hair, and to Benefit makeup from Browns of Beverley who did the girls make up.
An enormous thank you goes to Jan Clennett from The Fairy Godmothers for supporting FOLS, and Kirsty and Abby for showing the girls how to walk the cat-walk – the girls really loved that!
At least £180 was raised which is fantastic, half of the money raised is going towards the Year 11 yearbook and the other is added to the total being raised for the new Mini Bus!
