Beverley Treasure House has put its newest acquisitions on display. Items the public can see include 10,000-year-old bones and also a locally produced rifle.
The items are being displayed in the in the recent acquisitions case at the museum. One of the interesting things you can view are some red deer bones.

Youth dance groups are taking place for 12 weeks in six areas of the East Riding including Beverley. These will take place at the Memorial Hall on Tuesdays from 26 February.
Beverley Grammar School students have scored a major success with the school’s annual Mock Job Interview Day. All Year 11 students prepare for and attend a mock job interview with a local employer.
In order to make the interview process as realistic as possible, the students submitted their CV before the interview. Interviewers were also given a copy of the students’ most recent school report.

North Bar Without will undergo a major project next month that will see 12 traffic lights replaced.
The work which is due to start on 11 March will see old style lights replaced with energy efficient lights. Furthermore, new traffic signals will also use enhanced modern technology.
