The Eager Beaver were beaten on the road by Cherry Burton as they continued their build up to the new season.
This was never going to be an easy fixture though the Eager Beaver did well in the early stages of the game and looked like they may nick a draw.
Cherry had a strong team and their experience was enough to see them through as they winning the game 4 -2 against the new Beverley side.
