Silvestre De Sousa claimed another win at Beverley as he rode favourite Judicious to victory in the feature race, The Admiral Tyres Handicaps Stakes.
Among the crowds at the Westwood course were children from Beverley Minster Primary School who spent the day learning about distances and measurements as well as taking in some of the racing.
Others in the crowd included top local sports personalities from Hull Kingston Rovers, England international, Shaun Briscoe and Scott Taylor and Beverley ARLC manager Richard Shaw.
Local radio station KC FM were also at Beverley Racecourse as broadcasting live from the track. Beverley will welcome racing back later in the month on the 16th June when they host the popular Lucky in Love Night.
