Clash of the Codes Raises Over £600

Rugby Union and Rugby League sides from around the area came together at Beaver Park to take part in a ’Clash of the Codes’ event this weekend.

It was organised to support Craig Hancock who played for Beverley ARLC in the Ray Speckman Cup Final in May, where he suffered a badly broken leg and has been unable to play or work since.

In all, the event raised over £600 which was made up of entry fees, a raffle and an auction of sporting memorabilia.
