Burke Falls Short Of Tribal Myth Hat-Trick

Julie Burke and Tribal Myth couldn’t live up to their star billing at Beverley this week.

The Beverley Scholarship jockey had won her previous two outings on Tribal Myth on the Westwood this season and was looking to make it a hat-trick in Tuesday’s big race, the Siemens Chemical Process Handicap.

But a strong field made life tough for Burke, and she could only come home in fourth on the Kevin Ryan-trained Tribal Myth.

The race was won by 7-1 shot Eltheeb.
