produced a superb all-round performance as CC 4th XI romped to a an eight-wicket victory over HICE seconds at the on Saturday.

He picked up 3-42 then hit an excellent 71 as they overhauled their target with ease.

But he wasn’t the only home player to shine on a glorious day.

picked up 4-59 off 12 overs and 3-41 off 9.4 as the vistors were restricted to 182 all-out.

Goforth and Rob Wicks laid the platform for the run chase, putting on 132 for the first wicket before Goforth perished.

Wicks, unbeaten on 71, and , who scored 21 no, saw their side home to 185 and a fine win.
