Beverley Town CC 3rd XI picked up a win against Hull Ionians in the East Yorkshire Cricket Alliance Premier Division.
Will Wilson was ‘in the runs’ as he scored 50. Harry Bardon also did well scoring 32, helping Beverley set the visitors a target of 189 runs.
Keiran O’Brian made up for his golden duck with 5 wickets. The inspirational skipper was given out first ball LBW, but produced a cracking bowling performance claiming 5 for just 19 runs.
Beverley won the match by 43 runs. O’Brian was pleased with result. Praising the team, he said it was a very good win. Next up for Beverley is Kirkella at the Norwood Recreation Ground
