Beverley Races: ‘Queens Men & Queens Horse’

Beverley Racecourse was full of people enjoying the races and there was plenty to at the Westwood Course.

On track was a horse owned by The Queen, ‘Set To Music’ which was ridden by Tom Queally. Set To Music performed well finishing third in the 2.35 at Beverley.

The Queens ‘Men’ were also in Beverley, members of the 72 Engineer Regiment were at the course as they enter the final stages of their 548 march.

The TA members will complete their mammoth task this weekend, they will take part in the Great North Run along with veterans who have lost limbs in recent conflicts. They are raising money for ABF, MacMillan Caner, BLESMA and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
