Staff and volunteers at the Beverley Guildhall are appealing for objects and photographs to put on display for the next exhibition in the Beverley Community Museum.
The exhibition is on “Pastures and Pasture Masters” and will look at not only the Beverley Westwood but also Swinemoor and Figham.
Fiona Jenkinson, Curator at the Guildhall, said:
“A previous exhibition on the Beverley Westwood and was very successful, and in the light of the recent changes to the Freemen and Pasture Masters we decided to look again at all the Pastures.
“However, it is proving very difficult to find objects to put on display and we would like anyone who thinks they have something that would help us to bring it along to the Guildhall.”
“Photographs can be scanned and returned straight away but we are hoping that there will also be objects that we can borrow for the duration of the exhibition, which will be from July to December.”
