Growing Beverley car workshop Beverley Motor Works are showing their support for local sport with their sponsorship deal with Beverley Town CC.
Based on Annie Reed Road, Beverley Motor Works specialise in BMW and Minis but are equally adept at servicing all makes of cars.
Richard Hayes, who runs the business with skilled mechanic Alan Lewis, said sponsoring Beverley Town CC was an opportunity too good to miss.
He said: “We took the opportunity after speaking with Alan Acklam, the captain of the first team, to advertise our business at the cricket club.
“Supporting a local sports team such as Beverley Cricket Club is very important to our business and our values and to be associated with Alan and the team helps raise our profile and theirs, also enabling us to be part of the local community.
“We are always looking into new ways to reach new customers and tell people about the fantastic service that we offer.
“Alan offered all of what we needed and was too good an opportunity to say no.”
