Beverley Fire-Fighters Charity Engine Pull in Beverley

Shamus Harrison a retained Fire-Fighter based in Beverley is organising an Engine Pull on Saturday 30th January to help raise money for the Hati Disaster. The challenge is similar to one he organised for the Tsunami Disaster around Beverley on that occasion raising over £5,000.

Shamus is just finalising the details with the local authorities is said;

“We intend to do two full sweeps of the Town following the same route, first one at 11:00 and second run at 14:00, hoping to catch plenty of people on our route, we will have a Police escort throughout usually with a Police horse and rider clearing our path as we make our way around pulling our 14 tonne fire appliance!!”

The route will be from New Walkergate (Fire Station)

  • Wylies Road
  • Hengate
  • New Walkergate
  • Sow Hill
  • Railway St
  • New Walkergate (Fire Station)
