Beverley businesses The Fairy Godmothers, Meadow Studios, DeLacey Hair and Beauty and The Hair Lounge combined to create a fantastic raffle prize of a Cinderella makeover at Longcroft School Pinks Night.
The lucky winner Laura Meredith, aged 14, was picked at random by Viking FM’s Paul Foster and Rosie Madison. Her ticket was chosen from hundreds of tickets sold on the evening.
Laura said:
“I couldn’t believe it when they called out my name, as I have never won anything before”.
Laura received a make-up session from DeLacey Hair and Beauty and had her hair done by The Hair Lounge. Laura and her mum were then whisked off to The Fairy Godmothers, of Ladygate, where Laura had her choice of gowns to wear for a photo shoot by the Meadow Studios Photography team.
Laura also had the difficult task of choosing a photo to be printed out on the evening as a keepsake; Meadow Studios also gave her
the rest of the images with full printing rights.
All in all the pinks night was a resounding success raising a fantastic £1050. Friends of Longcroft School are considering another Pinks Night for November or December.
