Riverview Health and Fitness the official sponsors of Beverley Town FC have stepped in to help frustrated gym-goers cope with the closure of Beverley Leisure Centre’s Tone Zone.
The Beverley leisure Centre’s Tone Zone is closed from today, Thursday 26 May, until Saturday 11 June in order to modernise facilities and improve the experience for customers.
It will leave many regulars frustrated and initially left them with little choice but to trek across the East Riding to use other Tone Zone centres.
That is until Darren Hart from Riverview Health and Fitness, located at Phoenix House on Grovehill Road, stepped in.
Darren is offering full access to all the gym’s equipment for just £2 to anyone wanting to use the private gym during the long closure.
He told HU17.net: “Anyone who comes to our gym during the closure will be given access to our equipment for just £2 on production of their Green East Riding Membership Card.”
“We think it makes more sense for people to continue to train in the area as opposed to driving out of town to place like Hornsea to train.”
