Girls Only Basketball Sessions are to be held at Beverley Leisure Centre on Saturdays 2 – 3.30pm, beginning 13th November. The club will continue to run on Saturdays 20th & 27th November and 4th December and then into the New Year. Sessions cost £2 per person.
The sessions are aimed at girls in the local area who have an interest in playing basketball and who would like to be involved in a new community club (Beverley Cougars). The club is open to all skills and abilities, from experienced players to complete novices. The club also aims to organise friendlies with other girl’s only sides in the area.
All sessions will be coached by a very experienced and England Basketball qualified local coach and supported by local volunteers.
The sessions are aimed at girls aged 11 – 16 years.
