Beverley Minster will be running a day-long series of bonus-packed roof tours in the Central Tower, including demonstrations of its mediaeval tread wheel crane starting at 10am on Bank Holiday Monday (30th May).
These special tours will include a walk through the very top of the nave roof, and a view of the unique clock chiming mechanism in the North West Tower.
The hour long tours will run throughout the day until 4.15pm and cost £5 for adults, £2.50 for under 16s.
Refreshments will also be available through the day in the Minster Parish Hall.
