Beverley Racecourse hosted their family race day yesterday.
Amanda Price a Nurse at Hull Royal Infirmary spent the day at the Westwood course with family friends as she celebrated her 43rd birthday. Dave Price and Dave Bignell both managed to scoop place pot, the pair were delighted at picking the right results in each of the races and scooped £4.50 each for their efforts.
Rachel Falkingham of North Bar Without celebrated her 21st with friends and family, including her sister Leah, who is soon to be off on her travels to Australia.
Hull Kingston Rovers provided some rugby skills and drills while their club mascot Rufus the Robin was out mingling with the crowds. Peppa Pig also made an appearance at the race course, meeting children and posing for photographs.
