Airkool Walkington 10k: Entries Now Being Taken

Entries are now being taken for the Airkool Walkington 10k and all those who were disappointed at not getting a place in the Beverley 10k are encouraged to enter.

Both races are organised by Beverley Athletic Club and are very popular with local runners. The Beverley 10k filled up in record time this year and those who were unable to secure a place may want to run at Walkington instead.

The Airkool Walkington 10k will take place at 7.30pm on Friday 8 July. The race starts at Walkington playing fields and follows a rural, undulating, circular route, returning via Little Weighton. Entry is online only at www.sportsentrysolutions.co.uk/allraces.php

There is also a 1.75 mile family fun run supported by Warners Sports Medicine which starts at 6.45pm.

Fun runners can enter online or by post. Entry forms are available from Start Fitness in Beverley, other local sports shops and also from Beverley Leisure Centre. There will be no entries on the day of the race.
