Adam Lyth who plays for Yorkshire was in Beverley this evening where he present awards to the young players of Beverley Town Cricket Club. Lyth who is described as a ‘flamboyant left-handed batsman with a fine array of shots’ spent time answering questions after handing out awards the various junior teams.
Beverley Town Cricket Club were very grateful to Adam for giving up his time to hand out the awards to Best Bowler, Best Batter, Players Player and Coaches player across all age groups. The last time Lyth was at the club he was smashing the ball all over the park, however this evening he was a the perfect role model for the young cricketers of Beverley.
