Runners Snap Up All The Places For 2012 Hall Construction Beverley 10k

Beverley Athletic Club has announced that this year’s Hall Construction Beverley 10k is now full – less than three weeks after entries opened. With more than three months to go until race day on Sunday 13 May all 1200 places in the race have been snapped up.

Club Press Officer, Kay Farrow, commented:

“I’m always amazed at how quickly the 10k fills up. It gets quicker every year.”

Asked why the race is so popular she said:

“Club members with family and friends all work together to organise a quality event, spectators in Beverley town centre create a brilliant atmosphere and it’s a great route to run.”

There are still places in the B&A Scaffolding 2k fun run. Entry is online only at www.sportsentrysolutions.com/allraces.php and further information can be found at www.beverleyac.com

For those who would still like to test themselves over a longer distance there is the Sport Relief event on Beverley Racecourse on Sunday 25 March which has a choice of 1, 3 or 6 mile distances. Entry is online at www.sportrelief.com.
