Christmas Dinners Take Away Service Offered By Local Business

Christmas dinners will be offered by a local business, The Queens Head this Christmas.

Local Publican Claire Martin says that plans to offer this service have been made due to the recently enforced lockdowns.

Like many businesses,  The Queen’s Head, based on Wednesday Market has had to adapt. During the first lockdown, they ramped up deliveries serving thousands of meals to homes around Beverley.

Now, with Christmas approaching they have put in place plans that so people can enjoy a quality home-cooked festive meal at an affordable price.

Speaking about their plans Claire explained more, she said;

“Many of our customers are elderly while we have many others who work long hours.  As a result of this, we decided to offer a Christmas dinner takeaway service.”

“Our menu will ensure people can have a good quality home-cooked traditional Christmas dinner during the holidays.”  

“We hope by doing this it offers a cost-effective way for people to enjoy Christmas, especially for those who live on their own.”

“Those wanting to have Christmas dinner supplied by us can either collect it or have it delivered on Christmas Eve.  All we are asking is that people place their order and book by Monday  14 December.”

“Meals ordered can be collected between 3-7PM on Christmas Eve. We will also be delivering meals on Christmas Eve between 3-7PM.”

Queens Head Christmas Dinners Can Be Ordered By Phone & Online

The Queen’s Head Christmas Dinners will cost £18.95  per person. There are a host of choices including traditional Turkey, roast beef. While there is also an option for vegetarians.

Prices include a main meal with all the trimmings and a quarter bottle of wine. The wine can be exchanged for a bottle of beer or a dessert.
