Calling All Cocktail Connoisseurs! Create Your Own Hull-Inspired Cocktail

Lost City Adventure Golf is asking the people of Hull to create their very own Hull-inspired cocktail, with the winning entry set to land a spot on the new adventure golf course’s bespoke cocktail menu.

The lucky winner of the competition, which can be entered via the Lost City Adventure Golf Facebook page, will also receive four free tickets to the golf course and complimentary pizza and cocktails to try out their winning concoction.

The winning cocktail will be featured as a ‘special’ on the menu at Lost City’s Tiki Bar during the opening month, alongside other tiki classics including The Margarita and Bahama Mama – a delicious blend of dark spiced rum, coconut rum, lime, pineapple and orange juice.

Alice Carr, marketing manager for Lost City Adventure Golf, says: “We’re looking forward to receiving what we’re sure will be some very exciting and adventurous cocktail creations from the people of Hull containing ingredients that really celebrate the city.

“Hull is famous for so many things – from the Humber Bridge and Hull Fair, to chip spice and chip shop patties – so I’m sure there will be a whole range of wild and wonderful submissions.”

But those interested need to get their entries in quickly, as the closing date for the competition to create their dream cocktail is midnight on Sunday 11th October. Entrants need to name their creation and include a recipe, description and a garnish for the side of their drink.

The adventure golf course – which is due to open at the end of October in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre – will transport golfers to the heart of a tropical rainforest through its two 18-hole indoor adventure golf courses.

With large-scale special effects, Lost City Adventure Golf is an immersive, interactive golfing experience. With a tiki bar serving food and drinks, the venue is perfect for first dates or friends heading out for a few drinks, as well as stag and hen parties.

During the day, the golf course is also great for families looking for some fun and friendly competition between family members!
